Prof. Dr. rer. nat. G. Klotz
He studied physics and chemistry as well as molecular biology and did applied research at the Max-Planck-Institut für Molekulare Genetik, Berlin Dahlem.
In addition he received his habilitation in the field of molecular genetics. From 10975 until 2003 he was a professor of the Medical Faculty at the University of Ulm. Here he did research and teaching in the fields of Medical Microbiology, Genetic engineering and Virology, and supervised Master (Diplom) and Ph. D. students.
He is an expert in the assessment of health risks caused by microorganisms in natural environment and objects of daily use as well as in the assessment of risks for health and environment by manufacturing and application of materials produced by genetic engineering.
